Wind. It means the world to us.
Mid West Wind Farm is a proposed renewable energy project in Western Australia.
Located approximately 40km East from Geraldton, the project will consist of around 70 wind turbines. Each turbine will have a maximum blade tip height of 236m and the project will have a combined maximum capacity of around 500 megawatts (MW).
To put that energy generation into perspective, the current peak load of WA’s main electricity network, the South West Interconnected System (SWIS), is around 4,500 megawatts.
