Mid West Wind Farm is a proposed renewable energy project in Western Australia.

Located approximately 40km East from Geraldton, the project will consist of 98 wind turbines. Each turbine will generate 7.2MW, have a maximum blade tip height of 236m and the project will have a combined capacity of up to 700 megawatts (MW). 

To put that energy generation into perspective, the current average load of WA’s main electricity network, the South West Interconnected System (SWIS), is around 2,000 megawatts.
