The Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s 2024 Economic Summit, themed Investing today for tomorrow, was held in June 2024 at the Queens Park Theater in Geraldton.

The summit offered a comprehensive examination of both the drivers and announced investments propelling the Mid West region’s economic growth. The information was provided as a 12-month snapshot, illuminating both current achievements and future prospects across a broad range of industries. 

Speaking on the Panel

Luke Barber, Mid West Wind Farm PM from Vestas, was a featured speaker in the Industry Panel and presented on the Mid West Wind Farm. Vestas was a proud sponsor of the economic summit and held an exhibition booth at the event. 

Luke also joined the bi-annual business leaders lunch, open to members of the Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry following the very successful event. This lunch gave opportunity to sit together with our Government, Industry, Agencies and businesses to have a more intimate discussions on the business horizons and the current economy.
