Vestas had a great time showcasing our Mid West Wind Farm development at the Mingenew Mid West Expo on August 8th and 9th.

Held at the Mingenew Showgrounds, the event brought together industry leaders, farmers, and enthusiasts from across the region.  It was a great opportunity to talk on a wide range of topics with some highlights including:

• The Mid West Wind Farm development: This is a 500MW wind farm we are currently developing about 30km north east from Mingenew.

• How Wind Farms can co-exist on farming lands to provide clean energy and an additional source of revenue for farmers.

• Answering a wide range of questions and queries people had about wind farms.

• Some great merchandise and information handouts. The paper model turbines were especially a big hit.

We were also lucky enough to receive an award for the best technology display presented by Matt Fanning!

 Vestas also hosted a stall in 2023 and will be there again at the next Mingenew Expo.
